Valentin started his career advising businesses and high net worth individuals on financial matters and employee retention strategies. Prior to founding MortgageHippo, Valentin worked as a banking lawyer at a large Chicago-based law firm. Valentin holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.
Prior to founding MortgageHippo, Michael represented major lending institutions as a corporate lawyer specializing in residential and commercial real estate financing. Michael also worked as a consultant to several asset management firms analyzing bank portfolios of commercial and real estate loans to assess their value and risk. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico.
Andrew leads MortgageHippo's long-term technology vision and oversees all technology development. Prior to joining MortgageHippo, Andrew held technology and management consulting positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Cisco Systems. Andrew holds a Masters of Engineering in Computer Science from Cornell University and an MBA from NYU Stern.
Eric has a successful track record taking B2B cloud-based platforms from early stage to scaling cash flow. This made him a natural to head up MortgageHippo’s Client Success function. Eric is a builder, a hacker, a tester of limits, a challenger of assumptions and a business problem’s worst enemy. In his spare time, Eric leads the Chicago Product Management Association, is an avid traveler, hiker, and biker and loves exploring the many restaurants in his Wicker Park neighborhood in Chicago.
Russ Alton has 20+ years’ experience in technology with much time spent building SaaS applications. He has worked on enterprise systems to produce highly scalable and feature-rich products. He is focused on driving enterprise-wide success through proactive change management and comprehensive, strategic initiatives. Prior to joining MortgageHippo, Russ was Director of Technology at a large mortgage bank in Seattle.
